here is a pair of much sought after, authentic 1955-61 Levi's 501XX 
 
marking the beginning of the paper tag, replacing the leather patch (jerky tag).
 
single stitch, hidden rivet, selvedge coin pocket, big "E"
 
slightly softer blue wash with minor wear at knees & rear pockets
